Mount Tamalpais, the most famous landmark in Marin County served as the inspiration for the logo for Marin-based Kathleen Russell Consulting (KRC). Susan Bercu had teamed with the strategic consulting firm on many large projects so was familiar with the vision, values and mission that she used as the building blocks for developing the brand identity. The tagline, “Telling Stories—Moving Mountains” perfectly supports the brand. Susan’s illustrated logo incorporates the feather, an important symbol for Native Americans whose issues are a significant focus of KRC’s consulting practice. The brand is emphasized consistently throughout the firm’s materials and website.
