The pocket brochure fulfilled the requirement for an energetic and contemporary-looking outreach tool. San Francisco-based Joshua Venture offered fellowships for Jewish social entrepreneurs committed to transforming the American Jewish community. The cover art of footprints in the sand suggests a sense of mission while also connecting to the Biblical story of the Jews’
40-year sojourn in the desert following their flight from Egypt. This image became the signature brand, which I translated into an illustrated logo for the organization. The brochure design was carried into ads, postcards and poster.
