A bold shelf presence and clear positioning were needed for this product entering the crowded supplements market. Dr. Kristal’s metabolic formulas had been offered only on an individual consultant basis in his San Rafael offices. The inspiration for the label art was the healthy Marin County environment: it’s ocean, bay, sunny skies and wildlife.
The clean, appealing bright illustration connotes a balance (air, water, earth, fire) and conveys the care that Dr. Kristal brought to his formulas.
