You wish your business (or your client’s business) to compete professionally. So, it’s worth the commitment to invest in the most visible elements of that business: the branding and marketing materials. Professional design services make the difference.

You need a design consultant if you:

  • are launching a new business
  • are repositioning or upgrading the image of an existing business, or if your business has recently merged or changed its name
  • are the new person in charge of marketing communications
  • make marketing decisions in a company that does not have an in-house graphic design department

But how do you find, hire, and evaluate a designer? What exactly does a designer do? How is a design created? How will you know if the design is any good?

Here are the answers to your questions. To read my brief articles on design, just click any category title below. The articles are downloadable in PDF form and can be read in Acrobat Reader; if you don't already have Acrobat Reader from Adobe, click here to download the free program.
